The first thing people have been asking me is “Why Saturn?”. Well, my partner and I were coming up with all sorts of name ideas, and Saturn stuck. Saturn has rings, which made me think of self protection and natural boundaries. In mythology, it represents structure, responsibility, strength and protection which is also very similar to how I approach my work, with great integrity.

I kept being asked by many people online if I could please run a self defence course, as I have a background in martial arts and police training, leaving me in a unique position to cover all bases when it comes to personal safety and defence. In the end, I felt it was almost my duty to help, so off I went to find some venues! I decided to do my first course in Lewes as that is where the requests were coming from.

I contacted Dean at Neptune Designs for some help with a professional logo and sent him a few drawings of what I was after. It was important that my logo was calm and not aggressive to set the tone for my classes, powerful but not intimidating.
